    Can't keep liquid in my airlock (or an airlock in my carboy😂)

    I have used gas-x or other similar products in a pinch, usually to prevent boil overs. I’m pretty sure the active ingredient is the same simethlicone or something. Even cherry flavored ones, but don’t tell anyone trying my beer.

    Need help so much foam.

    You are keeping the caps on too tight, I think. If you aren’t letting the co2 out it will foam up when shaken or released.

    Brewed the Deception Cream Stout, rapid fermentation, finished quick. Did I underpitch?

    There is some lactose in there which will contribute to the final gravity. It is supposed to be sweet. Previous advice is good.. give it some more time.

    Could government become Agile. What if laws were changed incrementally, rather than dropping another stack of (bill + pork + riders, or spending omnibus style. Require a super majority for incremental change and we could check the partisan seesaw.

    I’ve been tempted to make a cocktail, or cock ale, with some Pollo Rico leftovers. Maybe a Black and Tan of sorts with your onion ale could be nice? if your serious about it, caramelize some onions in a pressure cooker with sugar and water... you might not make it past soup if it smells nice...

    Feed the fermentation when dry hopping in a carboy?

    I was planning on hopping in the keg, but I have a free pound of wai (iti?) tai, so I was thinking of 2+2+2 ounce dry hop, 2+2+2 ounce dry hop, and 4 more in the keg? How do you spray the co2 to purge? I generally use ball locks.

    And if I don’t have a spare tank of co2? I do keg, but tend to turn off co2 in between force carbing, because I can’t seem to keep away the leaks.

    I have three 5.5G carboys that are not quite filled up to the neck. And rarely pushing bubbles through the airlock. Should I boil up some DME to add when I dry-hop, to scrub the oxygen? the hops just came in or I would have done earlier. I know you like my fermentation chamber / bathtub brew.
