    Mash pH with stouts/porters

The guys over at brulosophy did a couple tests. What I found interesting was the fact that the pH was fairly close in each batch tested after fermentation was done. The pH reading on the HIGH pH test was different by .09 and the LOW pH was only .03...

    rehydrate dry yeast?

This is a great thread to prove there are many ways that work great. I've pitched dry, I've boiled tap water and cooled to 95 and rehydrated the yeast, and I've also taken a water bottle and poured about half of it out and sprinkled the yeast directly onto the room-temperature water and pitched...

Brown oatmeal stout with a very light body

I'd leave it alone for another week and let the yeast finish up. Check the FG over the course of a couple days to make sure it hasn't change and then package normally. Once it's carbed and chilled then tasted it and evaluate what you would change for the next batch.

Illinois 15 Gallon Brew-Boss For Sale

I'm selling my 15 Gallon Brew-Boss system. I bought the system back in 2015 and everything is in great shape and well-maintained. I don't brew all that often so it's been used maybe 6 or 7 times? I did add etching to the inside of the kettle for gallon markers but they're about a quarter...
