How do I know how much beer is left in my keg?

I'm getting ready to get four of these and having my LHBS ordering for others. Seems to be a great option at affordable price! https://ballandkeg.com/

Would you dump 16 gallons if you didnt reach fg?

Why would you dump it? Sure it may be less than "perfect" but it is still beer and probably going to be very tasty! Is it what you set out for, no but why waste the time effort and ingredients. Baffles me, not every grew day yields perfection, complete it and enjoy the ending product.

Kegging - good carbonation - slow pour

Interesting thought, I guess that the settled trub that comes out with the first draw could also do that, correct.

    Chicken Leg Quarters

Legs and quarters make good hot "wings" cook and treat them just like wings. I like them over cooked so that there is not al of the fat. Local restaurant depot has them for .28 per pound this month. Going to pick up a case.

Speidel round verses rectangle fermentors ?

Thanks for the confirmation, I am not wild about the lid design on the round 60L model. The rectangular one uses traditional screw on lid which is mor to my liking. I think I am going to start the acquisition of a couple of the rectangle 60L.

DIY or 20% off wort chiller?

I made mine. First thing is copper transfers heat better, not an opinion just physics. Second thing is 50' is way to go because if you are like most folks your need will change over time with kettle size and it can easily be reconfigured. 50' 3/8 soft copper is about $45. Use regular 1/2 hose...
