    I'm a little confused like salty I think. Grain bill looks very high. In brewersfriend, 18lbs of marris alone, at 60% efficiency, gives 1.136 og. And the way you intend to mash seems it would yield higher efficiency imo. Unless I'm missing something I think you might exceed your og with the recipe.

    Your question is a little confusing. Are you making 5 gallon batches split into 5 1 gallon fermenters? Wanting to make 10 fermenters instead? We assume you mean bottling in 10 growlers instead of a bunch of bottles. Unless you can get your hands on the 64 Swing top bottles, the twist caps cannot...

    To the OP, the obvious things have been mentioned, better quality, more accuracy, more fine tuning flavors and such. I went all grain about 6 months ago, I'm never looking back. My biggest issue was extract twang. Could have been many issues combined, but guaranteed I've gotten better...

    Will gravity drop a few points?

    No advantage. If you must secondary (you shouldn't/don't need to ;), just more oxygen pickup which is not good in an ipa) rack on the hops and 5- 7 days is perfect. My ipa's have improved big time since avoiding oxygen as much as possible
