    Quality poppets

Ok, I figured it out! Just got a little confused by the account creation page. Thanks day_trippr! No need for a company name, i just put N/A in that field and had no problems creating an account. Very stoked on this supplier, quite the selection of poppets.

    Quality poppets

Has anyone been able to place an order from chicompany.net? I tried to get some poppets from them but it turns out they require a business account and you have to provide a company name, etc. Very disappointing. I need those poppets. My Challenger VI is on the fritz!!

Replacement Pump Recommendation for Bucket Blaster

The pump that came with my bucket blaster died and I'm looking for a non kegland brand replacement, preferably something that won't break after 6 months . Any suggestions that would be compatible with the bucket blaster, which I I believe has 1/2" threads? Thanks HBT!

Upgrading to larger diameter Dual Faucet Tower, Should I drill new holes in my Kegerator?

I've decided to upgrade the tower on my Haier Kegerator, however I noticed the new tower I purchased is 3 inches in diameter rather than 2 inches. Will I be ok drilling new mounting holes in the top of the kegerator? If so, what size drill bit is preferred?

Cheap laptop just to run beersmith

Don't get the hp stream. It's one of the slowest, worst performing computers I've ever seen.

    Coors lite Clone Recipe

Lotta cool guys in this thread. So cool they're above brewing a light lager and would rather make fun of a newcomer's beer tastes than support him in brewing his dream beer. Well, I for one am rooting for irishhops to brew the best Coors clone out there. Ain't nothing wrong with liking what you...

Co2 Supplier in Grass Valley, CA Area?

Anyone have a recommendation for swapping/refilling CO2 tanks near Grass Valley or Auburn? Thought I'd ask if there's a preferred source, as co2 suppliers seems to vary in price quite a bit.

    Keg Dry Hop Gone Wrong

I used one of these stainless steel dry hop cylinders to dry hop in a keg: Stainless Steel 300 Micron Brewing Hopper Filter Homebrew Dry Hops Beer Tea Brew 688295882251 | eBay The lid is super flimsy and does not screw on securely. Sure enough, the pos lid came off in the keg and dry hops...

    Diptube Oring glued on?

Heat did the trick. A couple seconds in boiling water and I pried it right off. Thanks day_trippr!

    Diptube Oring glued on?

I'm swapping all the orings on my kegs, and I've run into a particularly pesky oring that seems like it's glued on to the diptube. No amount of force is getting this thing off, so it looks like I may have to cut it. Do I have any other options? I'm not loving the idea of scratching up the...

    Corona Mill Cover

You're right, it's time to get creative. No problems with shoddily constructed solutions here. After all, I'm rocking an "ugly junk corona mill" mounted in a bucket. Thanks man!!

    Corona Mill Cover

I've noticed some corona mills come with a cover that keeps grain bits from flying everywhere, like this model for example: https://www.amazon.com/CHARD-GM-150-Grain-Mill-Coated/dp/B00A2YG6C0/ref=sr_1_19?dchild=1&keywords=grain+mill&qid=1623172414&sr=8-19 Mine doesn't have that feature, so I'm...

What's the recommended length for a keg jumper?

Thanks man, I'll give it a go! Pretty stoked on the fermenting in kegs now. The only downside is not being able to see the fermentation.

What's the recommended length for a keg jumper?

I'm putting together some jumpers so I can start doing pressure transfers and I'm undecided on the ideal length. 2-3 ft sounds good, what are y'all going with?

    Danby Mini Fridge NOise Levels

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I must say I'm compelled to get one of these asap. I've been relying on a jockey box to cool my beer, finally ready for a better solution. Time to take the plunge!

    Danby Mini Fridge NOise Levels

Are these Danby fridges reasonably quiet, or should I go with a more common brand name Fridge? I'm looking for a potential freezerless kegerator fridge.

    Remineralizing RO water for drinking

I know this isn't directly brewing related, but I trust the expertise of the good people on the Brew Science forum. Anybody out there remineralizing RO water for drinking? If so, what target ppm values are you shooting for in terms of Calcium, Chloride, Sulfate, and Magnesium? I'm planning on...

    Anyone brewed a 65+ % rye beer?

I did a 100% rye malt beer and the viscosity was just too much. I suspect the 65%-75% range will produce similar results. Very snot-like. It was then I realized I'm not a fan of rye, except for chocolate rye. I strongly advise against brewing a large batch, as most will probably find it...
