    Keto diet and mead

I'd settle into the diet and being in actual ketosis for a bit before I go changing my mead protocol. It is not fun and I don't know many people that have been in actual ketosis for more than 30-45 days, most just settle into the principles of keto at that point which would allow wiggle room for...

Possible to scrub excess ethly acetate from finished beer?

I think the consensus is no it cannot be removed or scrubbed from the beer. "Metabolic dead-end" is the term MTF uses, which means it can't be broken down any further.

    Speidel fermenter space

I got one awhile back and have put two beers through it 5.5 - 6 gallon batches. Seems fine thusfar but I agree I have been thinking about upping the final batch size for beers going into the speidel. More is more right?

    Worst Bottling Night Ever

I bottle over the open dishwasher door to deal with spillage, of course it doesn't prevent spills if I crack a bottle on the counter. I know some people bottle right from the fermenter and use carbonation drops, which appeals to me a bit to reduce oxygen exposure etc. I have yet to implement...

    Sour Weapon P

So I have been taking a look at if there is a practical, potentially fast pedio strain to use that gives a bit more complexity than lacto but without waiting the normal 12 month minimum for pedio/brett fermentations. I read through the MTF Pedio page and ran across Sour Weapon P from Bootleg...

    Has this gone bad?

To me it just looks like SCOBY growth, unless it has fuzz on top (mold) then it looks fine to me.
