Are you using the Star San as a cleaner? If I remember right 1 step is a cleaner. Star San is a sanitizer only, for cleaning you will need something similar to PBW.

I found when I had commercial kegs on tap I was running closer to 4psi. I had no problems with mine. I dont remember it going above 10 at any point. Could just be me though.

What do you mean? I had some of that Stabilizer but dont use it as I havent seen much of a difference with or without it.. I monitor using a PH meter. Usually have no problems hitting 5.2

You should be able to pump the keg dry. Make sure that you reconnected the coupler properly. When you added CO2 again did you hear it going in to the keg?

Yeah its the 7 gallon Chronical, I built the cabinet to store it in. I also purchased the FTSS to go with it, have yet to use it though it arrived just before I deployed again. Counting down the days until October.

I dont see why it wouldnt, Not sure how STC works but most temp controllers just cut power when temp is reached, just set your freezer lower then you intend to go and it wont be a factor.
