Looking to switch my Keggle from propane to electric and was wondering if I got the 15 gallon boilcoil can that run on 120 as well as 240. I know that with ripple elements I can run 240 element on 120 and just lose wattage but was unsure if the same applied for boilcoils.
I agree I was using a cheap Harbor Freight clamp to hold a hose for my whirlpool and I knocked it right in and had to wait till i finished transferring. On top of that I didn't pitch my yeast till the next morning and the batch came out great.

Thanks for the forum update and working on getting the bugs worked out.
Here is my first homebrew I made years ago in the tasting class I got from comic con.
So I have searched this forum as best I could and did not find an answer. Has anybody used one of these 12V motors from amazon successfully to motorized a two roller grain mill.

I prefer to use slim quarters with the fermentation conversion kit from brew hardware. I move a lot and plastic won’t hold up and glass will break. It’s a cheap way to get into stainless steel.
I have the Idyilis 7 cu ft. chest freezer from Lowes and it holds 4 ball locks on the flour with a 5# tank on the hump. I put a 10 inch collar on mine to make serving easier which would allow me to put another keg on the hump if I put the kegs on the floor a certain way.
I just scored three ball lock kegs for 30 bucks each. Really made the drive from Alabama to Baltimore worth it. No I didn't drive that far for kegs luckily I had to be in Baltimore for work the same week the ad was posted.
