I was thinking of brewing an all grain parti-gyle using only 6row and 2row as the grain(mostly 6row). I dont want the first runnings to be a really big beer.How much grain should I use to make the first runnings 6 gallons at around 7 or 8% abv and the second runnings 6 gallons at mid to low 4%abv?
I was looking at the history of brewing in my hometown of Indianapolis IN and there was a brewery that made a beer with ozotonic and malt extracts before and during prohibition.There seems to be no information on ozotonic extract on the net other than this brewery who made it.Anybody have a clue?
