Thanks for the comment - we're still working on things like this, right now, we offer flat rate shipping for simplicity. Our site currently does not have the size/weight/dimensional information for each product, so we can't really offer different options/shipping types based on the product...
That will only help it taste better! But the only thing you need to worry about is having enough living yeast to still carbonate once in the bottles.

If you can get them filled as quick as possible, with little to no airspace in them, and get the bottles sealed well, they will last days. I have had some last weeks!

Then you can just add your remaining pressure gauge back on to the added body.
Why don't you just remove that nut that is too large, clamp on a swivel nut to that beer line, then screw on the swivel nut to your disconnect?
That would probably be easiest in my opinion.
