How long does your brew day take with your electric systems?

I have a 3300 W brauheld pro and use it to make 8-10 gal batches. Normally it takes me around 6 hours to get it into the fermenter. I can't use full power because if anyone else plugs anything like a hairdryer or some machine the power goes out... So I keep it at 3000 maximum to reach a boil...

Anyone else overwelmed by the amount of hops in IPAs and NEIPAs?

I like the IPAs and hoppy beers there are in the market these days. But I choose not to brew then because where I live, hops are expensive! Just the hops for an IPA can be more than 50% of the total price of ingredients.

    Evolution of Flavors with time

Hey everyone, Just wanted to discuss how beer changes with time. Ive always been curious about the different flavors beer has before its complete. From wort to beer. I've always loved sampling beers at diferent stages and was wondering if there was anyone else like me. Today I tried a brown ale...

Naturally carbonated Fermzilla at room temp.

Im thinking of just putting in sugar an bottling without pre carbonating the beer. That way I avoid foaming. I might be in luck because I found some old fridges and gotta check if they work. If they do, then I know what im doing. Thanks for all the replies.

Naturally carbonated Fermzilla at room temp.

What if the bottles are at near freezing temperatures? I know I'll have loss due to foaming but if I can bottle pre carbonated it'll make my life much easier. Worst case scenario I'll have to add sugar to the Fermzilla, mix it a bit and bottle it letting the yeast do its magic.

    How to increase Abv %

I like using dry malt extract when my gravity comes in a bit low. Keeps the beer with a full body and adds to the ABV without making the beer taste too much like alcohol.

Naturally carbonated Fermzilla at room temp.

Oh yeah I have a counterpressure filler. It was kind of hidden in the list of items I put in the post. Next Friday I'm brewing a Marzen under pressure with the Fermzilla and should bottle in about two weeks. Ill post an update on the bottling if I remember.

Naturally carbonated Fermzilla at room temp.

I cant bottle carbonated beer? What if I cool down my bottles to around 0C before bottling. I can't cool my beer but I can put the bottles in a bath of ice, water and sanitizer to cool it down.

Naturally carbonated Fermzilla at room temp.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Fermzilla and I'm in the process of getting CO2 equipment (pressure kit, gas, lines, connectors, spunding valve, counterpressure bottle filler). The thing is, I don't have a fridge to cool down my Fermzilla and I'm concerned if I will be able to naturally...

    Bottling from 55L fermzilla

I guess I'll try racking it to my bottling bucket with the solution in it. Sucks that I have to do it twice because my buckets don't hold 55L but for now it will do. Thanks!

    Bottling from 55L fermzilla

Hi everyone, I had a question regarding the fermzilla that I cant seem to find an answer to. I was wondering if it was possible to add the priming sugar to the fermzilla the same way one would dry hop and then proceed to use pressure and a bottling wand to move the beer into bottles. I don’t...
