Need help choosing the lesser of two wrongs.

You're absolutely right. I shouldn't have even mentioned times in the first place. I was just generalizing to try and keep on topic and not muddy up my post with (more) irrelevant details. It is in fact time for a d-rest.

Need help choosing the lesser of two wrongs.

So I may have jumped the gun posting this (and most other questions I post for that matter). After some searching I see that a week long d-rest wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. ...so scratch that question. I'm still curious if I could drop them both in at around 45' F with no ill effects...

Need help choosing the lesser of two wrongs.

Hello brewers, So here is the lowdown. I am rushing an American pale ale using US-05 (I know, I know) for an upcoming festival next weekend (even worse, I know) and I plan to use gelatin as a fining agent. I've never used gelatin before but I'm aware that it's best added to cold beer. I need to...

    Mold growing on labels.

Funny thing, It's only on the White Stag IPAs, not the other bottles. I'm sipping a dark lager now and it seems fine. Perhaps a little oxidized (temperature fluctuation?) or perhaps just paranoia. I'm far from BJCP certified so I could be wrong. I sprayed the bottles with StarSan and will try...

    Mold growing on labels.

Just bought a Devils Backbone sampler pack at the local grocery store, got home, opened the box and there is green fuzzy mold growing in spots on some of the labels. Should I complain? It was the last sampler of its kind so I kind of want to keep it. I don't want to complain to the brewery, as...

Most annoying response when you tell someone you're a homebrewer?

Me: I brewed a batch yesterday. Them: oh yeah? How is it? You'll have to bring me a sample!

How close is your "local" home brew shop?

About two, two and a half hours if I take the interstate.

So, I have this old guitar amp...

I've been Googling this amp for about 5 years and have never come across the manual. Hell, I've only found a handful of people who know about it at all! Thank you for finding this!!

So, I have this old guitar amp...

It's basically a head version of the old stereo reverb/chorus twin combo amps.

So, I have this old guitar amp...

I've got it running to a Peavey 412MS 300w cab and it's stupid loud. I live in a small apartment with neighbors beside of and below me and I can easily piss all of them off by cranking it up to about 2. I get the impression it was made to cater to people wanting that mid range Dimebag Darrel...
