    CO2 Help

no, the tanks themselves are either aluminum or steel and have no appreciable effect on "food grade". I have for years used exchange tanks from either auto parts stores or welding shops without seeing any difference in the gas itself. The food grade question has more to do with impurities that...

How is my water profile and have I interpreted it correctly?

"Don't know much about chemistry" <end singing voice> but one thing I have learned here is that @Silver_Is_Money does.

What came in the mail for you today?

My Anvil Foundry 6.5 arrived! Took longer to come the last 50 miles than it did the first 2000 or so. Still waiting for the pump kit which is back ordered.

What do you do with your spent grains?

What do you do with your spent grains?

Do you live in a city? Put them in a plastic bag, then into a box. Wrap with gift wrap and a ribbon and leave in in the back seat of your car while you are grocery shopping. Likely gone when you return. (Apologies--this was probably suggested already somewhere in the past 4 pages.)

This is what I was thinking as well. Obviously no experience yet but look forward to seeing what the community has to say. From reading, it looks like that volume is totally doable.

Just got an email this AM from Blichmann telling me that my Foundry 6.5 and small scale have shipped. 2 weeks from order to ship--cannot complain about that! I better go back and re-read this thread and get ready for the prep work and get a brew going.

Need to wait before my minifridge arrives: How do I empty the beer line after disconnecting it?

Put some starsan in a keg and run it thru until clear.
