    Help with fermentation problem

Or a large tub of water and an aquarium heater

    Anvil fermenter at half price

If it is smaller than a standard corny, that would be a problem. I can deal with it if it's the same. Not sure it's worth the time/effort to switch tho, I guess

    Anvil fermenter at half price

Anvil has a sale on now--5 gallon fermenter is half off at $49.00. Anyone have experience using these? I currently ferment in a Corney with a floating diptube and like it in general for c. 4 1/2 -5(ish) gallon batches but at about 50 bucks the anvil might be a bit easier to clean. Thoughts? Thanks!

Thinking of trying something new, to me

This is what I do. Daisy chain 2 kegs, put dry hops in first keg and purge them with fermentation gas, then when it's time, transfer from the fermentation keg to the dry hop keg. When dry hop finished transfer into the purged serve keg. As wdavis2003 said, I make 4.5 gal. batches and a floating...

    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

There is the reset button next to the 120/240 switch, but you have probably already tried that. There is another on the underside of the unit that trips on a dry kettle--maybe it has tripped?

Anvil Foundry Lid seal - falls off

Mine has never come out, but I have heard that others just don't worry about it--it's not needed for most

    Kegland fermenter?

I currently ferment in a Corny keg . I see that Anvil has the 5 gallon fermenter king junior on sale half off at $45.00. Anyone have any experience with this? See any advantages, other than being able to see what's going on? At that price point, I admit I am tempted.

    Anvil Foundry 120/240 adapter cable

AHA!! I had hoped to use the adapter with my 6.5 but was told by Blichmann that it would not work. I have puzzled over that for 3 weeks. Now I see why it won't.

Question about adding DME after bad efficiency.

If you are going to add DME it would be better to add it while fermentation is going on to minimize oxidation. However, that carries its own set of problems--fermenter volume/space, etc. would necessitate pulling some of the fermenting wort to dissolve the DME in so you don't overload the...

You know you're a home brewer when?

I'm right there with you bud! About 20 years ago I was working on a 2 story apartment roof and backed right off it. Shattered 2 vertebrae and spent 4 months in a body cast. I still get "The Lecture".

    Typical Gravities for Lawnmower Lagers?

I meant the residual lacing on the glass that makes it foam more, providing the nucleation points. (Unless he's rinsing in between) I see it all the time when I reuse the same glass for a second pour.
