Never mind I see what I'm doing wrong. I have to press Set once after entering manual mode to actually set the percentage. Jeez.

Seems like it uses whatever power setting was last used in automatic mode. Setting the % doesn't change anything. If the coil is off in automatic mode switching to manual it stays off. If it was on all the way in automatic then it stays on in manual. I guess my eBay special ain't so special.

My son designed a 3d printed piece that clips onto the sight guage of my Blichmann kettle. We're still learning how to use the printer and this was his first attempt at creating something and printing it. I'm pretty psyched at how it came out.

Seems like you would be safest by unplugging one of the freezers while brewing. When maintaining a boil would it be pulling 23 amps or is that just theoretical max?

Trying to clean it up now. Still don't have the temp probe wires correct. I'm using the blichmann probe and wire. Even though it's got 4 pins only 3 wires are used. Measured the resistance between each wire combination and I get 1.6 ohms for two combinations and 0.9 ohms for the other. Still...
