I ended up boiling last night. I did have a propane burner but my BIL had it and they live out of town. Only option was to boil once power came back on or wait til this morning. I'm sure it would be ok had I waited until this morning to boil but didn't want to take a chance on the wort souring...
I get that but if I recall there are people who mash one day and boil the next. I've read post about this on HBt but can't find it.
So has anyone done thus without infection or the beer going sour?
I am 50 min into my mash and the ****ing power goes out on a sun shining day.
If power doesn't come back on in the next 30 min I'll need to wait until tomorrow morning to finish. Do I need to do anything special to maintain the integrity of the wort so I can go to the boil tomorrow?
It's pretty...
I have one from Bulk Reef Supply- I think it's the 75 GPD one. I've been using it for 4 years, strictly for brewing water and coffee. It takes about 3 hrs to get 8 gallons or so.
Buckeye Hydro is a good vendor. Cant remember why i went with BRS, maybe it may have been a bit cheaper.

My first pour using the Intertap faucets does produce some foam. What i have been doing is make a couple ounces to get the beer flowing, drink then pour my pint and that has reduced the...
I have an All Rounder and never had a lid leak. I've probably fermented 6 batches or so with no issues. I also do not use lube. I hand tighten and no issues. You may want to check the gasket to make sure it's not ripped or not seated properly.
You should not have to use lube but if you do...
They foam way more than my CMB tap does- always have no matter how much i dial back the flow- I initially used Ultra barrier tubing at about 15'/run and it produced foam then. I keep my keezer set at 35 and PSI at 10-12.
Once I switched to EVA barrier the foaming was greatly reduced but I get a...
I second the EVA barrier lines with John Guest fittings. Roughly 6' per line.
Check out Rite Brew. they have the best prices and is where I bought most of my parts for my keezer build.
kegconnection is also another source but I find their prices on some items are a bit high. I have one of their...
