You just want to make it into a fermentation cabinet? All I did was add a temp controller on a strip plug. I heat in the winter cool in the summer. Stupid simple.
I hinged both the lid and the collar. I just screwed the existing hinges to the collar and used regular old door hinges for the lid. Did the same for my fermentation chest freezer. Either way both could be easily put back to a freezer, but why the hell would I ever want to do that!
Jeez we have not even received all the replies yet and nobody has declined. I was kinda hoping some people would bail. So we are on the way to being more than expected, sorry:cross: But I will drink some beer for everyone. Gotta try and sneak a bunch out! After all; it is paid for.

Dogfish Head 60 min IPA or Troegs Hopback Amber Ale
Victory Prima Pils
Flying Dog Porter
Yuengling Light
Sam Adams Lager

Next to the music this is...
Okay I have a meeting on Friday to pick the food and beer. I'm allowed 5 choices of any kind of beer. I live in the northeast, and the distributors have decent choices. So what beer to soothe the masses and the beer-o-philes and everything in between?
I was thinking for IPA (that's what I...
Yeah I kinda figured. I've just been so busy lately. I wanted to brew something tasty for a upcoming function. Oh well, I'll still brew it it and save it for myself. That sounds like a way cooler plan anyway.
Good because I just used it in am emergency last weekend. But I used LME so lets hope they're not under carbonated. Because I used the recommended DME amount per Palmer's book. So we shall see.
