    I brewed a low carb IPA with oats, rakau, strata, and mandarina bavaria. Then I added cherries to my partigyle stout.

    My dad drinks 30% of my beer. I try to give away 10-20% to friends and neighbors. It brings a smile to peoples faces, and with inflation, at least one guy would get no beer if I didnt gift it :(

    Just finished up a farmhouse ale with sorachi ace (trying to use it up), coriander, and birch bark.

    How long does it take to keg

    My protocol is to use 20psi co2 and blow beer out of fermzilla into purged keg. takes less than 10 min. My prob is making sure keg is not overfilled.

    Thats what i do. except for the one time i pressure fermented, and forgot to let the pressure out. lid put a 1/4 dent in kitchen ceiling. :eek:

    Great question. Im going for 25 ibu mostly because I dont know how it will turn out. My personal taste would probably be to do 60.

    Fermzilla cracked lid safe to use?

    Personally, I would fit the lid in place, then super glue over the crack. Thats probably enough to prevent bacteria.

    My turn, mashing a 100% wheat beer now. using 13% rice hulls. I had an extra bag of wheat malt, so figured, “lets go!” probably going to use a belgian yeast and heavy whirlpool hops.

    I brewed up something hoppy yesterday with Strata, Idaho Gem, and Mandarina Bavaria. Using Belle Saison and S-33...we'll see how it goes. Finished mash pot cleaning this morning.

    I'm not always able to recycle it. I've found that the yeast lose a lot of viability when I pressure ferment in the summer. If you watch on amazon, you can get some great deals. I bought a 500g pack of S-04 for $80. And it lasts a long time. I'm still working on the 500g of US-05 I bought two...

    I buy hops on black friday deals, enough for the year Buy yeast in 500g bags and try to go 2-3 brews on a yeast cake Use organic wheat and oats as adjuvants I use a lot of hops in my beers, so a typical five gallon batch runs me $20-$25.

    4mm Eva Barrier for blow off tube?

    I use eva barrier all the time for blow off tubes. Works fine for me. Never had a problem, even with aggressive ferments.
