    is catty a compliment?

I don't like it all the time but sometimes I do. My friends and I call it, 'hippy chick, armpit'! :)

What's the best beer to use with my home water without doing anything to it?

I do all grain and figured it would be a good idea to use campden tablets. Great advice guys. Thanks so much. I'm going to put the numbers in Brewfather and see what it tells me on my next brew. Off to create a recipe!

What's the best beer to use with my home water without doing anything to it?

6 months ago I moved to another state and started brewing again. I have an RO filter that takes about 8 h ours to get me to 10 gallons and that's ok but, I thought my water tasted good and decided to get it tested. But, as confident as I feel working with RO water, as well as pleased with my...

    Back in the saddle

I'm sort of in your shoes but I semi-retired, moved to a rural area and am a few weeks away, hopefully, of brewing after a year break. I'm pretty sure it will all come back to me but still only be an average beer.

    Fall Corny Keg Giveaway

Usually brew 6 gallons but will likely switch to 3 or 4 as I've moved and it will take a while to make beer drinking friends. :)

Men in Black IPA-a style I really enjoy drinking and it's been tweaked to my tastes perfectly!

    Clean, Fast Ale Yeast?

I've gotten super fast ferments using San Diego Super Yeast WLP090 though the profile is closer to WLP001 than US05.

    Summer 2023 Corny Keg "Giveaway

20-30 5 gallon kegs though I usually only get 13-15.

    Swaen Ale malt?

This^^^^^ I like it at no more than 50% of the grain bill.

    Verdant in American/West Coast IPA?

^^^^^this! It makes a tasty English IPA and while I agree with many of the other statements, I think many should try their normal WCIPA recipe and substitute the yeast with Verdant and I think you'll be happy with it.

    Wyeast 1272

Well, it took a full 3 days but I am finally seeing the starter take off. Most beers are almost finished by this time but, if I've learned one thing about homebrewing, it's that nothing is ever the same. Hopefully, it'll be faster when it meets Mr. Wort!

    Wyeast 1272

Last year I had problems with a fresh pack of 1272 and had to add US05 after it failed. I decided to try another pack so in January I ordered more and was surprised to see the use by date of March 23. I couldn't brew for a bit but Sunday I decided to make a 4 liter starter with it since it was...

    Go Buy Some Nectaron

I kegged today and have to say, the aroma was pretty damn enjoyable. Hard to tell the outcome at this point but my FG was lower than I wanted so it's a tad dry. Not a big deal. Looking forward to this one!

    Go Buy Some Nectaron

Finally got time to brew with Nectaron. Kept it a bit simple. A tad Warrior for bittering than all Nectaron the rest of the way except at the 5 minute mark I put in a little Citra then whirlpool with Nectaron and I'll dry hop with a 2 ounces as well. Was expecting awesome waifes of aroma during...
