    Andrewski Brewski Pale Ale

That's right!! That's right it adds to it, make it yourself, this beer is awesome. Sometimes I really hop it. More like 4 or even 6 oz of hops when I feel like it. 2 oz is great.

Just sent the IPA to the secondary ...

Long time? Interesting. 7 to 14 maybe. However I have done both. I usually fridge it after 14, maybe on 21 day I tap it. Co2 to keep it good and charged. By then it's carbonated and ready to enjoy. Cheers keep em coming '

    Andrewski Brewski Pale Ale

Not sure what I meant either but it makes great beer. I wouldn't change the recipe cause it makes a good brew.

    Andrewski Brewski Pale Ale

It others word what I meant to say is, yes it adds carbonation later. A little Carapils

    Andrewski Brewski Pale Ale

Well only cause the Carapils gives it one more pinch of dark than 60L. It's a darker heavier pinch of grain. In the long run it'll at the extra kick of carbonation from the dark molasses malt after the mash! To be honest, that's the only reason why I add it to the recipe

    Why not stir the fermenter?

I just let my sit, I appreciate the knowledge however...I never ever thought about stirring it. Sitting the barrels of beer and keeping it still was what I thought the best idea

Specialty Grains & the amount of water used for them

I have always mashed out the specialty grains or steep the speciality grains. If I steep the grain I start off the brew with with steep grain first then add my malt from mashing. A grain cloth works fine, but don't skip any steps ever! I have done this both ways many of time and my always comes...

    Beer not fermenting

I agree. Everything sounds good. Lager means "longer" in beer lingo. So patience is the best beer ingredient for you. A lot of brewers follow the steps, make it perfect, sanitize....if you did all of this by the book.patience throw some of that in, sit and wait 40 days later

    First 24 hour fermentation temp

Absolutely! I bought a used fridge. 20 bucks. A cool tshrt, ice water batch. Patience patience patience is also the better ingredient. It'll be alright

    First 24 hour fermentation temp

Yeah man I live in Florida. I have brewed many of many batches in degrees of 78, room temp. If you keep it lower than 75 that should be your goal! I higher temp ferment could and will make a sourness start, so pinch your growth. Buy a refrigerator to place your fermenter into or control your...

    Why not stir the fermenter?

Another good thought to home brew fermentation - buy a refrigerator big enough to stick your fermenter into. I brew in fl and its hot! Indoor temps of 78 degrees sometimes still fermenter my beer strong! However the refrigerator can be controlled with an on off switch, but it on low and control...
