Long time? Interesting. 7 to 14 maybe. However I have done both. I usually fridge it after 14, maybe on 21 day I tap it. Co2 to keep it good and charged. By then it's carbonated and ready to enjoy. Cheers keep em coming '

Well only cause the Carapils gives it one more pinch of dark than 60L. It's a darker heavier pinch of grain. In the long run it'll at the extra kick of carbonation from the dark molasses malt after the mash! To be honest, that's the only reason why I add it to the recipe

I have always mashed out the specialty grains or steep the speciality grains. If I steep the grain I start off the brew with with steep grain first then add my malt from mashing. A grain cloth works fine, but don't skip any steps ever! I have done this both ways many of time and my always comes...

I agree. Everything sounds good. Lager means "longer" in beer lingo. So patience is the best beer ingredient for you. A lot of brewers follow the steps, make it perfect, sanitize....if you did all of this by the book.patience throw some of that in, sit and wait 40 days later
