Smells green. Wit taste with some saison. Ultra smooth mouthfeel. Little to no aftertaste. So easy to drink, like a wit without the bitterness. Nice summer beer. Cant believe this is 7% alcohol!

Hi! I got a crazy idea to make a wheat beer and then add saison yeast (3711). I have tweaked a little on "Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen", added a little more wheat and pilsner. And also a little rye, for a little spicy taste.

I found this when i came home from easter. It has been in the fermenter for 3 weeks now. The beer is a rye saison. og - 1.62, sg - 1.00! What kind of bacteria is it? The taste is a little a bit sour, and i like sours. :) any tips?

Added 1 more pound of pilsner for lost efficency with BIAB. Scaled the recipe down to size of my pot. Increased the mash time to 85 minutes 65 c, and 10 minutes 75 c. Boiled 90 minutes. Ended up...
a quick update.
The recipe reduction beernut gave suited my pot perfectly! Thank you! OG was low, only 1.68(expected 1.72). So i am going to ferment it a little lower to 1.10ish.

Thank you guys. I Stired it pretty well, so i hope its going to be fine. I had my girlfriend put the sugar in little by little while i stired. Next time im boiling the sugar in some water. :)
