    Robobrew/Brewzilla Discussion

That's actually a pretty good call, I'm in Canada so I'll also be dealing with cold winters, I like the idea of brewing indoors but not sure if I can make that a reality, so hanging onto the kettle and burner for a while will likely be the path I will take. Like you I have a 10 & 5 gal cooler...

    Robobrew/Brewzilla Discussion

For those of you that switched from a more traditional AG system (for me...cooler, pot for heating sparge water, boil kettle, gas burner) to a brewzilla or similar AIO system, what gear were you able to purge from your set up? It looks like an AIO will certainly simplify and maybe speed up brew...

    Brewzilla Gen4 Discussion/Tips Talk

Would you be able to comment on mash temp times and boil times with the 110V on the Gen4? Debating the 222 vs 110, would much rather the 110 for flexibility but having a hard time finding any info out there on ramp up times for the 110v. Thanks a lot

who was selling the v3.1.1 for $350? Just starting to look hard an an AIO here now, and torn between S40/BZ3.1.1/BZ4...but if someone is still offering the BZ3.1.1 at $350 CAD that would likely be the answer

    Losing CO2 when dispensing

Hadn't considered this...but seems more likely than it just dropping to zero all of the sudden. I guess back to my first question...does it make sense to be losing CO2 or having a leak downstream from the keg? IE from Keg exit, through tubing and up to the tap? Next step is going to have...

    Losing CO2 when dispensing

I have been going through CO2 like crazy (like 5lb per corny keg) once I hook my keg up to dispensing. I hook up to carb, check all for leaks and it appears to remain pretty much flat on my CO2 pressure gauge so I don't think the leak is there. Once I hook to dispensing it seems like its all...

Random Leak from Faucet - Perlick 630SS

So I came home today to the wonderful aroma of spilled beer in my apartment, turns out one of the taps on my kegerator leaked while I was gone (only about a pint, not a massive mess). I hooked up the keg last night, carb'd at 12 PSI and thats where the reg is set right now. I poured a pint...

Did I put my yeast to sleep?

I accidentally started my fermentation of Nottingham yeast at 5 C deg for about 15 hours (forgot to reset my temp controller from a cold crash) and I'm getting very little fermentation activity 48 hr later thought the airlock. Its in a stainless fermenter so I cannot see any activity inside...

What's wrong with my system? (Co2 lines)

I'm having a similar issue with my system, just killed my second 5 lb tank in ~two 5 gal kegs. The lost tank I chalk up to not knowing what I'm doing as it was the first I think I had a loose connection to the regulator. This latest one though it was all good, had it hooked up to 2 kegs for...

You know you're a home brewer when?

When you have 2 mini fridges (kegerator and fermentation fridge) in a 1 bedroom apartment, plus a full all grain set up. I need to buy a house to support my beer habit :)

Star San reuse word of warning

For like $0.50/batch (if that) its worth mixing up new stuff everytime for me

    Carboy bottom.....blew out..

I bought a SS fermenter after reading too many of these stories, danger aside I do not want to clean up 5 gal of wort ever. The $200 sucked for something that a $15 bucket could handle, but I won't have to replace it for a long long time and there is 0 chance of a catastrophic failure

Brew Bucket by SS Brewing Technologies

No, there is a chance you can siphon all the fluid out of your container into the fermentor having it on top like that

Do you lose carb if you warm up keg?

I plan on taking a keg out of my kegerator to use it for fermenting and my keg will warm up to room temp...if I don't purge it and get it back on the gas and cold again (once the fermenter is out of there) will I still be at serving pressure or do I have to "re-carb". Thanks! Sent from my...

    Which faucet is best?

I went with perlicks and they're very good, apparently give a better pour as well as less cleaning issues. And the STC1000 is super easy, there is a pile of info and schematics on how to do it, I'm far from an electrical whizz and it took me about 20 minutes to build a controller
