Efficiency: 75%
8.50 lbs. Gambrinus Pilsener
8.50 lbs. Gambrinus Wheat Malt
3.00 lbs. Gambrinus Munich Malt(light - 10L)
1.50 oz. Hallertau 60 min.
0.50 oz. Hallertau 5 min.
Mash Temp : 148F for 60mins.
ABV : 5.2%
This is, by far my most requested party beer, hence the name. I will often divide the batch between the 2 yeasts for variety, however if I'm making it for myself I go with WB-06 for the entire batch. This beer takes well to yeast experimentation.
I'm not fussy about the hops. Any low alpha noble works. I regularly sub Willamette with very good results. I often bring the finishing hops to a full ounce as well, and will likely make that a permanent change to the recipe. Even going to 2 ounces would likely not negatively effect this beer, but I haven't tried that, yet.
Enjoy!
