I've been brewing for about a year and a half now, and since then have made a decent selection of brews and labels.

I'm very proud of both. Designing them is the easy part, but finding the perfect label paper is a feat I have yet to accomplish. For that reason, I'm only showing the labels themselves. No action shots.

Let me know what you think! :)

Thanks everybody!

BrewThruYou, I use a combination of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, but I would say my primary tool is my design degree. :D

It's been a while, but I've finally kicked out a new label. This is for our Blonde with Lime beer. Ugh, zesting 50 limes for this was crazy, but it turned out great. So it was only befitting that I make a label just as epic.

I like all of them but my two favorites are manly stout and limey bastard. A degree in psy doesn't allow me to be that creative lol.

Fantastic. Your label artwork and the general template are excellent, and some of the best I've seen on HBT. Keep it up. Let's see one on bottle some day. Printing on a color laser (or copy on a color copier), cut out, paint onto bottle with milk and paint brush (put milk under and over the label). You'd be surprised how well this works.

Thanks! Zlad was my first ever one and I decided to use it as my 'Template' for all Dubbel D made brews.

What kind of paper? Won't the milk bleed through regular paper? I've used Avery full sheet labels before but they're kind of a pain.

Normal laser paper works great. You cannot use milk with an inkjet printer, but with laser works perfectly. If you don't have a color laser, just print at kinko's, or print on your inkjet at home and take to kinkos and make color copies.

I put some milk in a bowl, then paint milk onto the bottle and the back of the label. Place it on the bottle, then paint the front of the bottle. I think you'll be surprised how well this works. They come right off when wet, too.

Ha, I was duped. I clicked on the thread expecting to see "Double D" type labels, not Dubbel D. Still I like your play on words. And some nice labels to boot!
