This reminds me of the time I was clipping my toe nails and thought " Umm, I wonder how a wort might ferment with a few of these bad boys dropped in there". The thought still lingers.

I can't say I won't try it but unless it gets rave reviews I won't go out of my way to get it.

As far as yeast from a beard: i don't think they have the guy swishing his whiskers about in the conicals to innoculate it. Beer yeast originated from who knows where way back when and its the product it makes that makes me happy not its origins.

It's gotta be yeast from someone else's beer, don't you think? I mean, he's a brewmaster, I imagine he drinks a few different beers here and there.
