And as most have already stated, this is constantly changing, but these are the ones I constantly go back to. In no particular order....

1) Dogfish head 120min IPA vintaged at least 3 years love that sherry hoppy syrupy goodness. There was a store that had this back in jersey so cheap. 3$ a bottle or something. Makes me wanna cry.
2) Brooklyn black chocolate stout vintaged/Rochefort 10 I had the brooklyn chocolate stout at Monk's in Philadelphia, vintage '06 I think? It was around new years last year. Incredibly memorable. It tasted so much more intense then the bottled version. I almost cried while drinking it, it was such a beautiful experience.
3) Southern tier imperial oat. Outstanding purity of flavor. I was thinking they had lost their minds putting the word imperial before everything that they had brewed. but it is some serious shnit. Best Oat based stout ever.

For having regularly: (as in not special magic beers)
  • Dogfish Head 90 Min
  • Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold
  • Kirin Ichiban
As far as Special Magic beers go:
  • Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest Fresh Hop Ale
  • Great Lakes Blackout Stout
  • Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock
