I typically flavor my kombucha when bottling with 50% reconstituted fruit juices or sweet tea but am looking to branch out into some new flavors. I've heard of people using such things as fresh fruit, purchased flavor concentrates, and homemade simple syrup infusions. Anyone have any experience with these, or any other methods for that matter?
 
I have had some good batches with apple and cinnamon sticks.

If your using fruit safest bet is juiced, frozen or peeled to avoid possible skin contaminants
 
Pinapple core sliced thin and remove when you pour your booch, same with mango
 
Sorry, should also mention the tea, been sticking with black lately byt have brought green back in for the scoby, The Apple Cinn was with a 100% Pu-erh batch
