Wondering if anyone has ever bought liquid yeast direct from White Labs? I see they have a way to do this through Yeastman.com but it looks like it may be for commercial use. Can anyone verify?

My thought was that it may be fresher than through a third party. I've heard of being able to get special strains through the vault but mostly I use WLP001.

Yes, yeastman.com is for commercial use only. As a non-pro, its yeast vault or any of thousands of resellers.

It looks like you can order as an individual homebrewer.
I signed up out of curiosity and selected those categories.

How can I obtain White Labs yeast if my local homebrew shop doesn’t carry it?
If your local homebrew shop does not carry our yeast, you can simply order the yeast you need off the order now section of this website.
