If your sanitation is impeccable, it should keep well in the fridge for several weeks. The yeast being exposed to the air inside the bottle is not ideal. But don't change it now.
Mind, if you make a starter first, you a) verify the yeast is viable while b) you grow more cells.
Then divide over several 4oz mason jars (or test tubes), in single or 2-shot amounts. Keeping the yeast under the starter beer is best, with a relatively small (air) headspace above. Well sealed and in the fridge. Again good sanitation is paramount or you'll be cultivating and pitching "bugs."
