Yeast may be yeast, but I'm sure her sample was not a pure yeast strain. Lots of bacteria thrive at body temperatures. In Bread, after it rises, you cook it and kill everything. In beer we add it after the boil - No thanks!
 
That yeast is not the same yeast (C. ablicans instead of S. cerevisiae), and it probably won't do anything unless she's adding actual baking yeast. At that point, it's just a gimmick.
 
Gross. What's funny is c.albicans is yeast responsible for thrush
 
Different family, different genus, different species. Candida albicans is about as similar to saccharomyces cerevisiae as I am to a dog.
