I am a lazy person. I am also cheap. Instead of washing the yeast as others have explained. Can I just sanitize a mason jar and then dump the yeast and other junk from bottom of ferementer into the jar?
How long will this store in the fridge?

Yeah two weeks was pretty much the consensus when searching Google. So, really it is worth the extra effort to wash the yeast. Some say if you do that it can last up to a year. It is a Hefeweizen Yeast and not brewing a Hefe next, so I need to either wash it or dump it.
