Here's my recipe for an american brown ale, and I have some willamette that I'd like to use for aroma. Would 1 oz of willamette work with my dry hop addition of amarillo hops? Any suggestions are welcome.

• 7lbs lme
• Steeping grains (45 min @ 155)
o 8 oz 60l crystal
o 8 oz victory
o 8 oz honey
o 8 oz English mild chocolate
o 8 oz American munich
• ½ oz Columbus 14% (60 min)
• 1 oz amarillo 8.2%(15 min)
• 1 oz amarillo 8.2% (dry hop)
• Irish moss tablet
• American safale yeast

I can't speak on how they'd compliment each other, since I've never used them together, but I'd say just toss em in at flameout.

I haven't used all of them together too, but I think you'd be fine using them for aroma, seeing as they are an aroma hop, according to this site.

I have tried that combo,it is great.Add 1/2 oz to the flavor hops and 1/2 oz dry hop

I have used willamette with the citrusy American hops (Cascade and Centennial). I think they go well together, but in my experience, the Willamette tends to be a bit more pronounced than the citrus.
