Will this work as a brewing Ph meter?

From what I can read, the PT1 does not read pH, but instead reads things like TDS and salinity. The PT2 does read pH (and seems a little cheaper too!).
 
Hate to necro-post, but this is the only thread I could find that mentions Myron L meters. Did you end up purchasing? A friend of mine is a chemical engineer and just gave me as a gift (well in exchange for a batch of beer to his liking) the PT2. It's their portable temp compensating meter and looks to be well built... The only slight question about it is around it's intended use. Everything in the materials just talks about water quality applications. Have not used it yet.

Anyone see any reason it would not work for wort? Have not had the chance to use it yet but am excited at the prospect of tossing my worthless litmus indicator strips!
