Will this work okay for grinding my grains? I was looking for something close in price to a Corona but that may need less tinkering to prevent shooting grains.

That one is out of stock but looks to be the same as this one...

The only thing would be figuring out how to make a larger hopper.

What you show is a flour mill. It does a great job making flour from grain, but it is not too adjustable and will have a hard time crushing barley, and an especially hard time keeping the husks intact.

I don;t think anyone's been successful with that particular mill. IIRC you can do any of the modding that we do with corona and victoria style mills.

This is the style that many folks including Charlie Papazian use.

Here's the thread where we talk about and show how to mod those mills...there MAY even be some discussion of the one you are looking at in there. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/my-ugly-junk-corona-mill-station-90849/

I've seen that thread and it is a good read. I guess I will just try to figure which model of Corona-style to purchase. I've read some pretty bad reviews on some of the off brands (tin coated or aluminum grinders).

I've got $50 in my Paypal account that is burning a hole in my virtual pocket. I've also got some grains at home and just can't bring myself to use the rolling pin anymore.
