I don't have my plans finished yet but I am planning my build of a 1/2bbl BIAB rig. When she said I want an electric pressure cooker I thought yeah I can put an element in the 20q pressure cooker we have but how do I use the same panel for 2 setups. I could also do 2 gal batches in this. Sounds like a win win but need to run this on 120.

I can't see any way a element in a pressure cooker would be useful. If you're cooking liquid food, it will scorch. Solid food would not keep the element submerged. If you're canning, due to the small amount of water needed, it will be difficult, if not impossible to keep the element submerged.

An electric element within a pressure cooker would probably work well for canning or sterilization purposes which only heats water (creating pressurized steam). As long as the element remains submerged you should be able to run it using a SSR/POT for variable control for instance. Something like that would probably be great for specialized uses, but limited in use in comparison to simply using a pressure cooker on a stove.
