I racked my IPA to a secondary (6.5 gallon Ale Pail). That was two days ago. Today I went to the storage room and looked at the bucket, and I noticed that there was a portion of the lid that was not sealed down.

I pulled the lid off, smelled the brew, tasted it with a sanitary shot glass.
It had a stronger than expected alcohol smell - tasted pretty bitter (maybe even for an IPA). I then resealed the lid.

Will I likely have a problem due to oxygen exposure?

no. there should be a nice blanket of CO2 (heavier than air) on top of your brew cushioning it from the evil air....

You shouldn't have any problem. brewers used to put a blanket or sheet over the top of fermenters and usually ended up with good beer. I don't recommend that procedure in this day and age however.
