Question regarding whole hop cones. I got 50g of Styrian Aurora and 100g of Styrian Dragon (experimental 105/220 Slovenian hops) from a local manufacturer. I want to use it for bittering as well as flavour/aroma. So the obvious question: how to dosage the hops in comparison to hop pellets we are all used to?

Hops looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/98x4h1c5lpf5med/2017-08-27%2017.53.51.jpg?dl=0

Additional info: it was dried and rehidrated to 8% (Aurora) and 12% ( Dragon). Does this make sense? AA oil values are similar for both.

Thanks for any input and directions.

Whole dried hops are frequently used. If you use a brewing software just select whole hops. If you don't use brewing software the general amount to use for the hop flowers is 10% more than you would than if were pelletized.

Did you get them from Roynik? Visited there last year. Styrian wolf was really good. Comparable to west coast hops IMO

No, from another local guy, but him and me both know Rojnik. ;) He makes awesome beer as well, you should definitely check it out.
