To get more oxygen into my wort, I am planning to whisk the **** out of it just after pitching the yeast. Will this harm the yeast in any way? Thanks.

I used to do this to cooled wort prior to transfer and pitching. It made for a tired arm, but worked fine. Do it until your arm is sore, then switch arms for a while.

dont whisk in your plastic bucket you will hit the plastic and scratch it. then you will have things and odors getting in the scratch and presto! you have a nasty bucket. just shake your wort in the bucket.
