Well there is always recycle night. Here where I live it happens monday night once a fortnight. Trouble is the long Necks 720ml are being replaced by the stubbies 375ml and smaller.
Still! Ask guests that if they bring beer then bring the bottle type you are after. I believe that a reasonable number is 220. A batch is 30 x 720ml bottles. So that allows 6 beer types with a few over.
I find that to allow beer to mature longer it means storing more of the beer you prefer that cuts down the number of different types.
I find that any beer does not really come in to its own untill it has been in the bottle at least 2 months. In Australia it gets quite hot and so far I find that an advantage in accelerating the fermentation.
