When do you brew your seasonal beers

Depends on the style... for summer I tend to brew wheat beers which have a very quick turn around. For winter beers, they are typically higher in alcohol, so they take a longer maturation time.
 
Take the amount of time it takes for that particular beer to go from grain to glass, then brew it that long before the season. :mug:

I think the underlying question here is how long to certain season beers styles take to condition. That is an open ended question though and depends on a lot of variables.

How about we start with: what do you want to brew?
 
Apparently my planning isn't as good as everyone else. I tend to brew fall/winter beers in the fall and winter causing them to be ready in the summer and vice versa. Thus completely inverting the actual cycle. Oh well, off to enjoy my summer Kolsch on a windy fall day.
