Hey

So I'm looking to brew up some beers, specifically BLood ORange Hefeweizen. But I'm having alot of trouble finding Wheat Extract with my local suppliers. They do have wheat malt, but dont have any extracts. I suppose I could do AG but id rather not make this my first ya know?

Any help would be appreciated

You can't find 60/40 percent barley/wheat malt? That's really strange... check out the online brew shops in Canada.

try these sites. all are canadian.

www.mashingheads.com

I have not ordered from homebrew-supplies.ca , but they seem to carry a wide range of stuff. . I have ordered from DeFalco`s twice, speedy service. . . mashing heads doesnt carry much extracts or hops, but have a good number of grains, and a flat shipping rate 7.99 for ontario. anyways, hope you find what you need someplace.

Did you ask them if they could order you some?

Brewtime on Upper James (www.brewtime.ca) definitely sells wheat extract. I think the manufacturer is Munson or Coopers? It comes in a can similar to a standard hopped-extract kit.

They also sell pale malt extract (fresh) for under $7/kg and have great service. I'd highly recommend visiting them if you're getting into homebrewing!

DO NOT USE MASHINGHEADS

I purchased through them before and never received my order. Only after a paypal dispute did I get my money back.
