Ive only brewed about 5 biab beers. But right now I'm ageing my Belgian ale and thus, dry.

What could I make for St Patty's day... Hell if it can even be made for that day.. What would be a good representation of St patty day, what style or recipe.

Thanks.

Old chub is a Scottish ale by Oskar blues. There was a clone recipe in brew your own. If you can't find it pm me and I will get it to you.

OK Thanks. I'll search. Appreciate it. Can I still dye it green or an Irish red? Stupid question I know but I'm just getting into beer and brewing

I made a nice basic Irish Stout. Kegged it yesterday. I have a newfound affection for stouts, didn't even know I liked them. Tastes good now so can't wait to taste it again in a couple weeks.

How long does it take to ferment. I don't think I can brew it in time and Bottle Condition (no keg) in time for St pats

Irish dry stout, or an Irish red ale.

It may still be a bit green, but if you brewed today, you might be able to get it carbed up in time.

Do a bit lower OG beer to help it ferment quicker.

ETA: Please don't go dieing beer green. Nothing about that is Irish

Got an Irish stout/Guinness semi-clone in primary now myself. I'm still searching for a name for the recipe; I'm trending towards My Little Armalite, after the song...

Mine went pretty fast, actually kegged after only 10 days in the fermenter but it had completely reached FG over 3 days of testing so I went for it. I force carbed in the keg @30psi for 24 hours then dropped to 12.5psi for the remainder. After only 4 days it is great and gets better daily.

Not sure you would have time to get it done in a bottle.
