After 24 hours in the cooker, and into an ice bath to chill.
Slice it into fat steaks, revac them, back into the water bath to reheat and sear them, comes out amazing!Now THAT'S what ya call "Low and Slow"! Watcha gonna do with it?
Mushroom and sausage soup tonight, a deconstructed pork shoulder went into my makeshift sous vide cooker for a 24 hour nap, more tomorrow

No cooking involved, technically, but made my first batch of kimchi last night. Already showing signs of fermentation.

Went to an indoors farmers market today and picked up tonight's dinner.
Pan seared scallops in a white wine, butter caper sauce, steamed green beans with tarragon and butter and herb roasted petite yellow potatoes.
