I'm really pleased with this recipe, and would like to enter it into an upcoming competition, but I'm not sure of what style to enter it in.

6lb Durst Pils
2lb Avangard Wheat Malt
1lb Avangard Light Munich
.5 lb Honey malt
3oz Acid Malt (for pH adjustment)

.7oz AU Sylva 7% @60 (Sylva is a Saaz derivative.)
2oz Sylva 7% @10
1oz Sylva 7% @0

US-05 Yeast

1.048 OG, 1.012 FG. 35 IBU, 5.6 SRM. It's a really nice cloudy pale orange.

It's sort of a cross between an American Wheat and a Blonde, but it's balanced pretty well toward bitter and has the hoppiness you'd expect from a German Pils. It's not extremely wheat-y (at only 20% wheat), so I might get dinged for not enough wheat character. It's way too cloudy to be a blonde, and might be too wheat-y as well.

I'm leaning toward just entering as a Wheat and seeing what the judges say...

American wheat is the most appropriate category. BJCP description is 'light to moderate wheat character'.
