Steve Morse. He's opening for Joe Satriani in Kalamazoo in September. I'm taking my daughter and since I'm completely Steve Morse ignorant, I thought it best if I enlighten myself.

So far not impressed. He's an amazing guitarist, but the mustical style is just not doing it for me. I'm still in his very early solo era, so there is still hope, but it just seems like a lot of random key changes. Not much "feel". I get a sense of early prog rock vibe.

Looked him up on wiki and realized that I saw him a few years ago with Deep Purple at a rock festival.
