My city water report is as follows, not sure what I need to correct for the best efficiency for an American west coast IPA. Not sure if any of this will help determine what salts I may need to add? All are average levels detected.

Barium (ppm) .008
Fluoride (ppm) 1.01
Nitrate (ppm) .08
Mono-Chloride (ppm) 1.80
Sodium (ppm) 35.90
Haloacetic Acids (HA A5, ppb) 9
Total Trihalomethananes (TTHM, ppb) 10.1
Total Coliform .5%

That stuff doesn't really help for brewing. You need to get the alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, sulfate, chloride, sodium levels. Once you know those things you can plug into a calculator to help predict mash pH and tailor the mineral content to taste.

That's the stuff the government says they have to report. They probably have the info you need but they just don't report it. Give them a call and ask. My local guys have been very helpful when I called.
