I am considering filling a 2.5 gallon keg with vodka, distilled water, and ginger flavoring. I can't find any recipes to give me an idea for the quantity of water to vodka. Has anyone done this before for a quick keg of booze?

What's your target ABV? Assuming 80 proof vodka?
Targeting 5% ABV, you need 40oz 80 proof vodka and the balance of the 2.5G water.
32oz for 4%

i've done 2x 1.75l bottles in a 5 gallon keg with 1/2 gallon OJ a few times, but honestly the 1/2 gallon is just because of calories, and a whole gallon would be better....hell honestly, i'm never giving up on being cheap, but if i was going to give up on watching my waist, i'd just do 4 gallons OJ and 1 Gallon vodka in a 5 gallon keg....

Can you point me to a calculator for this? I’d like to be around 6%.
well ethanol has a SG/Density of like .786 or something....so if you multiply 6%ABV by 0.8 to get the ABW....and water is 1 gram a ml.....i trust your a smart guy!

40 / 6 = 6.6666
2.5 gal / 6.6666 = .375gal
* 128 = 48oz

mine too...but i understand it well enough to where if i jiggle the windows calc around long enough, i get a good result.....
