Must have been a while ago.
8 years 4 months 13 days. MM1 (nuke) USS Enterprise CVN-65, decommissioned.
I was at Ft Huachuca (military intelligence), followed by Germany. It was 30 years ago, though!
OIF VET. USAF 2002-2005 Med/Honorable discharge. 90% VA disability.
What was your MOS?
I was a 97b40 out of the older school at Ft. Holabird.
Bet Arizona was nicer than Baltimore, Maryland.
I always liked listing my job title on resumes: Counter Intelligence Special Agent.

USCG, Boatswain's Mate, six years active, 1981-87. CGC Decisive, Rescue Station Fort Totten NY (closed, but I still see my old boat 41412 sometimes), PB Cape Horn (also gone). I loved that job, sunrise at sea, or sunsets over NYC.
But I'm glad younger guys are going out in those storms now.
There is some impressive service here, I salute you all.
