so this past saturday i did a 1000ml starter using white labs abbey ale yeast and it took over 24 hours to see any activity at all and even when it started it had very minimal activity. is this a characteristic of this particular yeast or do i have a dud, i am just curious because every other starter i have done has taken off in a few hours and fermented vigorously and this one has done almost nothing. thanks for any info
